Promotion!
In a promotion that everyone will agree is well due and well deserved, Justin "Justcello" Parsons got promoted to brown belt last night! For yall that are regular attenders at Justin's Friday night class (which the start time is moving to 6pm) you already know what a fantastic teacher and practioner of jiu-jitsu that he is and Professor Paul (finally!) surprised him with his new rank last night. Justin (aka Golden Boy) has been training with us for several years now. He came to us as an accomplished wrestler and gifted grappler, and has excelled in jiu-jitsu from day one but is one of the most humble guys you could meet. I think it is safe and saying that it was a special night for Justin, but also for everyone else that was there. Congrats, Justcello Golden Boy, we're all very proud of you!
As I mentioned above, the Friday night class start time is moving back fifteen minutes from 5:45 to 6pm. Hopefully this will allow everyone a little extra traffic time to make it to the class. It is a gi class and it will make you better if you go.
