Another Promotion!

You've heard the song "Big Girls Don't Cry", but I don't think there is a guy equivalent and for good reason.  Sometimes, under very special circumstances, big (defined by age, certainly not stature) boys do cry.  Or at least get teary eyed and I witnessed such an occassion yesterday when Professor Paul awarded Johnny Hunt (aka Juanny Tepatata) his purple belt!

It happened at the end of the kids class that Juanny instructs that Professor gave him his belt so if you were in class last night you got to see him sporting his new colors.  I know that Juanny was especially excited to get his belt with the kids that he spends so much time with molding into the next generation of Creighton MMA fighters.

In light of this most recent promotion, I found this article.  Relevant for all folks that grapple larger opponents.

(Small confession: I got a little teary eyed at my last belt so I can understand.)
