Strikeforce Melee
I've seen a lot of grumbling about the Strikeforce event on Saturday night, but my opinion is that free MMA is pretty much never bad. On top of that, I didn't think the fights were all that bad either. I'm not sure how the repsective champs would do in the UFC, but they certainly aren't chumps. Plus, I love any event that will (according to rumors) bring in Matt Lindland. Results below.
A big thanks to Sam "The Crusher" Joseph for teaching the advanced class on Saturday. If you haven't met Sam yet, he is a great friend of Professor Paul's and a Yamasaki black belt that has moved back to town and has been training with us. Great sweeps were taught for all in attendance and I saw a few new moves performed.
This past Saturday Professor was down with Frank Mullis in Milledgeville teaching a seminar. Speaking to a few folks post-seminar, it was a wild success and they were loving having top notch instruction down there for the day.
