Happy 4th!
So I missed a day, but at least I'm here. Got a few announcements that Professor Paul wanted me to share with everyone, so...
First, remember that if you are a member of our academy that you have full use of the weight area whenever a class isn't in session. Many of you take advantage of this area, but there are some that might not be aware of its availability.
If you missed the announcements in class, the new belt requirement books are in. A lot of you were asking for a easy to use format for the ranking requirements and we listened. The books are very nice with ripstop paper so they are very durable. Requirements for both BJJ and MMA are in there and it includes a notes section. Worth the investment to help you chart your progress and know where you need to go.
There are still some pads and bags for sale at the academy. I'm pretty sure the heavy one has been sold, but there is some other stuff there. Ask Pooh Bear for inventory and he can help you out.
And finally, we will be open Saturday. You won't miss any training this weekend because the 4th of July, also notably the birth date of Professor, is on a Sunday. Huge thanks to all those in our Creighton MMA family that have served or are currently serving our country to allow us the freedom and luxury to train!
