Long Overdue
Did anyone see Strikeforce this weekend? I didn't get a chance to, but I read the results here. I was a little shocked to see some of this, but some of it played out exactly like everyone thought. I like all types of combat sports, but the thing about MMA is that at any given time something could happen. KOs, subs, whatever. The fact that it is unpredictable keeps me interested.
Okay, enough of the philosophical rant. I'm so far behind that I didn't get to mention Bob Gracie's promotion to purple belt. Bob is a long time friend of Professor Paul's and has his own school in Danville, VA. Bob has been training forever, but has had the luxury of having a steady instructor since he lives in Danville where there aren't black belts on every corner. Congrats to our good friend Bob! Now, if he could just get all of our guys some fights we'd all be in good shape.
