Going On

I'm kinda disappointed that I've fallen into the trap that I've considered many others to fall into (except probably Morgz and Whirlwind). So many people relate MMA to the UFC and that is it. As far as I'm concerned, that is pretty myopic because there is so much other good talent out there. I used to think that any MMA was good MMA, but I'm having a hard time getting pumped up for EliteXC this weekend. Maybe I'm just getting bitter and cynical in my old age, but it just doesn't get my blood flowing. Kimbo and Ken, seriously?

At least Gina and Jake Shields are on the card, that pretty much saves it for me. Oh yeah, Arlovski and Ninjaare there too. Actually, I've already changed my mind. Free MMA on CBS rocks!
