Josh Bowie - Instructor

Josh originally started training jiu-jitsu with Paul in 1998 and was actually Paul’s first student. When Paul went back to NYC to continue his training under Renzo Gracie, Josh went on to obtain his Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice at Georgia State University.

After a three year hiatus, Josh began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training once again when Paul moved back to open his academy and has since then earned the rank of brown belt. Josh, a Gwinnett County police officer, has competed and placed in multiple sport jujitsu and grappling competitions, but his true passion is in teaching the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to the students at Creighton Mixed Martial Arts Academy. As an instructor Josh has a way of breaking down each technique so that everyone, regardless of their rank, can understand it.
